ABC is committed to providing resources that help prevent underage and high-risk drinking throughout Virginia’s communities. Each year ABC awards grants that encourage community collaboration in the fight against underage alcohol consumption.
In an effort to reduce underage drinking throughout the commonwealth, ABC will be awarding grants up to $10,000. The Community Coalition Grant is offered annually to support collaboration between local businesses, community organizations and state agencies, as they strive to promote zero tolerance for underage alcohol consumption.
Operation Undergrad is a grant program designed to assist Virginia's colleges and universities develop initiatives that prevent underage and high-risk drinking and enforce Virginia's alcohol laws. For the 2012–2013 academic year, ABC will award up to $9,000 per grant to colleges and universities.
